Jill Sylvia  is another favourite artist of mine.  She creates wonderfully intricate cut out paper ledger art and sculpture. The attention to detail and precision is immense and mind boggling!

wedding ....

It seems fitting with so much about love and weddings in the air at the moment, i was lucky enough to attend a wonderful wedding this weekend.  I have known the groom (Neal) since he was born ... which makes me feel incredibly old ... and he and Chloe made a beautiful couple.  The wedding ceremony was very romantic with soloists singing love songs from 'West Side Story' to keep the guests entertained before and after the ceremony.  The sun shone, the food was great, the wine and champagne was overflowing and the general feeling of happiness and love just washed over the guests in gentle waves.

The wedding was held in Tickhill, South Yorkshire, and the village was also holding a scarecrow competiton at the same time.  This 'bride' was waiting to greet us in the church grounds!!
